I was born and raised in Warner Robins, Ga, approximately 2 hours South of Atlanta. It was a small Air Force town that has grown as I have, alot. I moved to the Gwinnett area in 2004 and have been here ever since.
This is my fourth year at Harmony Elementary School and I truly love it. All of the students, parents, and staff are like a second family to me. I am truly blessed and lucky to have the opportunity to be a Wildcat.
I have been married to my wonderful wife Shellie for 7 years and we have an 2 year old little girl, Tyler Avery, who has become the center of our world since day one.
As some may know I am a huge Auburn Tigers fan and I love to joke around with my students, so it should come as no surprise that growing up I was very active in sports and also perforned in plays throughout High School and College. Currently I enjoy watching college football, playing softball, basketball, flag-football, and most importantly, spending time with my family and friends.
